A Hero's Journey is a fast paced hack and slash game. A core mechanic is "Speed Mode", a mode where the game enters once the player lands 5 successful hits causing the player to move and attack faster.
This is still an early prototype that showcases the introductory level of the game.

An XBOX controller or equivalent is required to play the game.
Controls (XBOX controller):
Move: Left Stick
Sword Attack: X
Bow Attack: Y
Dash (iframes activated): B
Jump: A
Ability 1: RT
Ability 2: LT
Shields: L3
Heal: stay still, press and hold LB
Change sword abilities: DPAD right key
Change bow abilities: DPAD left key
